A collection of side and coffee tables, Torus blends together contrasting textures and materials to achieve a sense of unity, and sculptural beauty. Its design creates a well-proportioned structure, with a cylindrical base made of natural block marble and steel jointly balanced by a round timber top, hand-finished and features a raised rim. Simple yet singular, Torus can give weight to a diverse set of styles in contemporary settings, and fit well with District Eight’s collections of chairs.

District Eight

District Eight is a workshop located in a refurbished colonial townhouse facing Saigon River. Founded in 2010, the firm is one of the first in Vietnam to merge design and build. District Eight was originally created to preserve and develop historically significant buildings, warehouses and objects in Ho Chi Minh City, the firm has rapidly expanded to include a production line of modern industrial furnishings that respond to environments, residential and commercial, locally and abroad. District Eight design and craft are focusing on the use of woods, cast irons and concrete. Among the favourite products are Ping Pong table, Lab Table Light and Le Loi Dining Table.
