Colette Chair offers an abstract reference to the Vietnamese traditional script and a love letter to the craftsmanship of timber. Its sweeping backrest forms a collar that’s instantly distinctive and inviting. Extended to ridges of the armrests and their rounded ends, the frame provides ample support for ease and comfort, lending the collection a level of formality and sophistication in any space.

District Eight is a workshop located in a refurbished colonial townhouse facing Saigon River. Founded in 2010, the firm is one of the first in Vietnam to merge design and build. District Eight was originally created to preserve and develop historically significant buildings, warehouses and objects in Ho Chi Minh City, the firm has rapidly expanded to include a production line of modern industrial furnishings that respond to environments, residential and commercial, locally and abroad. District Eight design and craft are focusing on the use of woods, cast irons and concrete. Among the favourite products are Ping Pong table, Lab Table Light and Le Loi Dining Table.
