Following establishment of the company in 1928, Maruni has a proven track record in the industry with unparalleled craft skills, from building structures such as buddhist temples to shinto shrines, to private dwellings and the furniture that they use. Today, big names such as Jasper Morrison, Naoto Fukasawa and Sanaa collaborate with Maruni to recreate faithful and intricate new forms while maintaining its philosophy of being responsible to the people and the earth. Maruni products range from chairs, stools, sofas, benches, tables and storage which are crafted from certified woods such as beech, oak, and maple among others.
